Job Summary
Editorial Assistant to support editors in non-fiction publishing: manage end-to-end publishing workflow for a portfolio of titles, contract administration, author coaching, production coordination, post-publication activities; coordinate author and vendor communications; maintain records in publishing systems; process author contracts and payments; support marketing copy workflows for online catalog copy, covers, and Amazon product pages at defined production milestones. Requires strong time management and organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication, comfortable with public speaking, fastidious attention to detail, proficiency in Word and Excel with ability to learn proprietary data management systems and Office 365 tools; able to work collaboratively as well as independently to resolve challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 1 year of experience related to writing, proofreading, content creation, publishing, communications, etc.
