Job Summary
Temporary Editor based in Miami, FL to support network news shows. Responsibilities include editing all types of videos (short form and long form) for network news, ensuring material makes air on tight deadlines, working with reporters and producers, finding and editing appropriate footage, coordinating with archive and master control, and reporting on technical incidents with Content Management and Engineering. Must be able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays and extend hours for hurricane coverage; strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing
- Expert knowledge editing on Avid Media Composer
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) required
