Job Summary
Edit daily news stories, breaking news, and special reports using non-linear editing systems to ensure on-air delivery; collaborate with producers, reporters, and control room to align footage with scripts, provide production suggestions, and support incident handling with engineering. Responsibilities include locating appropriate archive footage, coordinating with Content Management and Engineering on incidents, delivering timely edits, and contributing ideas for continuous improvement. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Communications, at least 2 years of video editing experience, proficiency with Avid Media Composer and I-news rundown, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. May include various shifts including weekends/holidays.
