Job Summary
Create and edit shop, GA, and single part drawings for steel fabricators to assemble members. Review project specifications, standards, and requirements to ensure full compliance. Interpret connection design drawings for weld requirements and maintain exceptional attention to detail for professional presentation. Ensure all fonts, spacing, dimensions, and annotations are clear, consistent, and aligned with JMT Standards. Incorporate review comments and corrections from checkers, project managers, and clients to maintain quality. Requires around 1 year of experience editing with Tekla Structures on US Commercial Projects.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/BTech in Mechanical or Civil
- Requires around 1 year of experience in Editing using Tekla structures
- Requires experience in US Commercial Projects
- Expertise in preparing shop drawings & single part drawings using Tekla Structure
- Able to prepare shops drawings according to customer specification
- Having good skills in reading Design drawings
Desired Qualifications
- Preference would be given to candidates with experience in Tekla, AISC, OSHA & CISC standards and those who worked extensively with US Commercial projects
