eDiscovery Systems Manager

Job Summary

Manage user help desk support, system documentation, and training for very large litigation support projects with unique requirements. Coordinate with Government representatives, contractors, and technical staff to anticipate problems, hire personnel, and ensure conformance to functional and technical design standards. Oversee a team of data processors, analysts, and DBAs while supervising all phases of Relativity One, including workspace creation, ARMing, and complex production generation. Troubleshoot Review projects, prioritize technical issues, and create statistical reports on collection, filtering, and processing. Provide technical feedback to Case Managers, attorneys, and opposing counsel on ESI specifications and participate in legal proceedings. This role requires 100% onsite presence in Washington, DC, with a public trust security clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • 100% onsite presence in Washington, DC
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • substantial, in-depth skills and experience specific to the requirements of the system
  • Windows based systems will require more specific hands-on experience setting up and running those systems and applications
  • Browser-based systems will require extensive hands-on experience setting up and maintaining browser-based applications
  • At least 6 years of first line management experience
  • Experience in implementing user support with HelpDesk
  • Experience developing and deploying new applications to an established user group
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Through knowledge of the litigation discovery process, and the EDRM workflow
  • Demonstrated ability to generate complex PowerShell scripts, and review / correct PowerShell scripts from staff

Desired Qualifications

  • Trial support experience
  • Certification in eDiscovery program
  • Hands-on experience with establishing a separate, dedicated local area network
  • Hands on experience with setting up specialized databases or customized applications for analyzing litigation case data
  • In-depth hands-on experience with Relativity aIR
  • Graduate degree in computer science or information management/technology
