Job Summary
eDiscovery Specialist sought to support Investigative Search Requests (ISRs) for JSP customers within the DISA JSP Platform Services portfolio. Responsibilities include receiving, tracking, and executing authorized data searches across enterprise data stores with two-person verification to maintain defensible chain-of-custody, maintaining SharePoint-based case tracking, delivering search results in required formats while protecting sensitive information, and coordinating with legal, security, Inspector General, and law enforcement customers. Work spans NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS environments; requires adherence to DoD records management, CUI handling, privacy/PII protections, and relevant FOIA/litigation holds. Candidates must have 3+ years in eDiscovery or related fields, hands-on experience with Exchange mailboxes and PST/OST data, familiarity with eDiscovery tools (e.g., Purview/eDiscovery, dtSearch, FTK, EnCase), and strong communication skills. On-site 100% at a government facility in the National Capital Region (NCR); requires U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance (TS/SCI possible) and local DC Metro area residence. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and three recent years of relevant experience.
- DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification requirements and at least one Level II certification or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC)
