Job Summary
Paralegal supporting the eDiscovery practice at AlixPartners, contributing to data collection/processing, data logging and audit functions, and coordination with vendors and clients. Responsibilities include developing correspondence and engagement materials, managing vendor relationships and SOWs, preparing proposals and tailored estimates with delivery teams, prioritizing multiple demands, handling sensitive information with discretion, and ensuring effective communication across stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor’s degree preferred, 1–2 years in litigation/legalprojects, strong proofreading and client-service skills, and advanced MS Office proficiency. Hybrid work model with in-person client/site or office work and remote options; travel may be involved; paid relocation is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or similar field preferred
- 1–2 years of experience with litigation, legal project or contracts management preferred
- Experience with a professional services firm, law firm, or legal department preferred
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Discretion handling highly confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple responsibilities with flexibility
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; experience working with clients preferred
- Self-starter with strong judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours for unique projects
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment
