Job Summary
Conduct poultry processing duties across first processing, debone, and second processing areas while rotating between departments and workstations. Maintain production flow by working at a consistent pace and uphold a safe environment by following verbal and written instructions. Utilize required PPE and safely operate sharp tools like knives and scissors in a cold, damp environment with exposure to strong odors. Perform repetitive motions involving bending, stoop, kneeling, and lifting various weights throughout the day. Maintain satisfactory attendance and job performance in accordance with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to stand/walk 100% of work day
- Must be able to bend, stoop and lift various weights as needed
- Must be able to climb stairs, frequently stoop, kneel, and/or bend
- Must be able to tolerate spice and rendering smells
- Must have manual dexterity of hands and wrists
- Must be able to safely use a knife, scissors, or other sharp tools
Desired Qualifications
- Previous poultry or meat processing experience
