Job Summary
Edifecs Developer to support VA healthcare transaction workflows (EDI X12, 837/835) with design, development, and optimization of transaction processing. Remote delivery within the U.S. Open to work on high-volume EDI transactions, integrate with trading partners, and ensure reliability and compliance. Requires experience with EDIFECS suite (Spec Builder, TM, XEServer, XESManager), EDI healthcare transactions (837, 835, 277CA, 278, 270/271), and connectivity to endpoints (HTTP/S, SFTP, file systems, databases, queues). Strong troubleshooting, communication skills, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination. 3-5 years of Edifecs experience and U.S. citizenship are required. Eligible candidates will be subject to government background investigations and may need to meet program-specific clearance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years Edifecs Developer experience
- Strong experience with EDI X12 healthcare transactions (837, 835, 277CA, 278, 270/271)
- Experience with EDIFECS tools (Spec Builder, Transaction Manager, XEServer, XESManager)
- Experience building profiles, routes, and trading partner relationships
- Experience connecting to endpoints (HTTP/S, SFTP, file systems, databases, queues)
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain security clearance (Public Trust/Suitability)
