Job Summary
EDI Technical Analyst (Claims) responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining EDI transactions and data exchange between trading partners; responsibilities include production support, data mapping, SQL query development, testing, documentation, API/ETL integrations, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant EDI standards are met, with hands-on experience in QNXT and healthcare payer environments; role requires collaboration with business and technical teams, on-call rotations, and hybrid work in Phoenix, AZ
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IS, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on EDI experience supporting healthcare transactions (claims, enrollment, eligibility, or payment)
- Direct, hands-on experience with the QNXT platform strongly preferred and must be listed on resume
- Strong SQL query development and database analysis skills
- Experience with healthcare payer environments, claims processing systems, and trading partner integrations (QNXT highly preferred)
- Experience with testing tools (SOAP UI, Postman) and monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, App Insights); understanding of API integrations, ETL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and healthcare EDI standards including TR3, CAQH CORE, and Blue Exchange guidelines
- Ability to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data and integration issues
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
