Job Summary
Measure, cut, anneal, punch, sandblast, and bend steel. Use hand tools to fit and glue steel to base, employ a jig to edge ski and split bases, match side sticks and core profiles, cut sticks to length, glue side sticks and tip/tail material to core profiles, and place binding inserts into designated areas on core. Maintain cleanliness of work area and wear assigned personal protective equipment. Work Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am. Lift up to 65 pounds regularly and 50 pounds frequently. Requires ability to read simple arithmetic and follow written and verbal instructions. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older on first day of employment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Adaptable to minor alterations in daily expectations
- Able to read and do simple arithmetic
- Good communication skills
- Will be working with hands 100% of the time
- Strong eye-hand coordination
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Required to regularly stand and walk
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regularly required to assist and lift up to 65 pounds
- Frequently required to assist and lift up to 50 pounds
- Vision requirements include close vision and distance vision
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass reference checks
- Must establish the legal right to work in the United States (I-9 Verification)
- Must execute other employment-related agreements, like non-competes, non-disclosures, non-solicitations, and others
