Job Summary
Edging Technician for night shift responsible for edging snowboard bases and cores. Duties include measuring, cutting, annealing, punching, sandblasting and bending steel; using hand tools to fit and glue steel to base; using a jig to edge skis and split bases; matching side sticks and core profiles; gluing material to core profiles; placing binding inserts into designated areas on the core; maintaining a clean work area; wearing PPE and working safely. Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds, follow written and verbal instructions, read simple arithmetic, and communicate effectively. Requires strong eye-hand coordination and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Shift hours: Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am; pay range $18.30–$21.05 per hour with pay progression after training.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to read and do simple arithmetic
- Strong eye-hand coordination a plus
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
