EDDA - Dental Assistant

Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival, document health history during exams, and ensure all consents are completed. Assist the dentist and hygienists with procedures including four-handed dentistry, rubber dam placement, and restorative work. Fabricate temporary crowns, place amalgam and composite restorations, and assist with seating permanent or removable prosthodontics. Take, develop, and mount accurate radiographs and intra-oral photos while cleaning and sterilizing operatory equipment. Track incoming and outgoing lab cases, monitor dental supplies, and assist with patient scheduling and referrals. Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow OSHA and BBP safety policies.
