EDDA - Dental Assistant

Provide excellent patient experiences while "in the chair" and drive overall patient retention. Assist the doctor and/or hygienist with dental procedures, including four-handed dentistry, fabricating temporary crowns, placing rubber dams, and performing restorative work. Review patient charts prior to arrival, document health history, ensure consents are completed, and take, develop, and mount accurate radiographs. Clean and sterilize operatory equipment, track lab cases, monitor dental supplies, and assist the administrative team with scheduling and referrals. Maintain HIPAA compliance, follow OSHA and BBP safety policies, and educate patients to address concerns. Requires current radiography certification and an active dental assistant license.
