Job Summary
Supervise inbound and outbound shipping operations, manage a team of support associates, and ensure accurate product shipments based on customer requirements. Monitor unloading of materials, track incoming freight, and maintain shipping records while resolving issues such as damaged goods or delays. Coordinate product returns, oversee safe warehouse equipment operation, and develop key performance metrics for safety, quality, and productivity. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives. This on-site role in Perris, CA, requires 5+ years of experience in distribution and bilingual proficiency is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a related field
- May require certification
- Located in a comfortable indoor area
- Possibility of up to 25% travel
- Primarily on-site in Perris, CA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution operations in a high-volume distribution center environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation, and order fulfillment processes
- Demonstrated success supervising, developing, and coaching teams to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and service goals
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and operational reporting tools to monitor performance and drive decision-making
- Ability to analyze operational metrics, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, quality, transportation, and customer-facing teams
- Experience working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment and managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced operation
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus
