Job Summary
Design, implement, and verify hardware design tools, flows, and methodologies tailored to new technology nodes. Define efficient hardware development methodologies by integrating advanced EDA tools and creating unique hardware designs for full-chip integration. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to test, enhance, and optimize engineering design automation tools with a focus on performance, power, and efficiency. Debug software and resolve issues in design tools to ensure robust hardware development solutions while supporting platform and database optimization. Requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, 3-5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Unix-based environments. This role is part of Intel's Central Engineering Group, focusing on scalable engineering solutions across product enablement, custom ASIC, and foundry enablement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
- 3-5+ years' experience
- Proficiency in Unix-based environments
- Expertise in tools, flows, and methodology (TFM) development for hardware design
- Hands-on experience in layout construction, layout verification, and physical design optimization
- Demonstrated ability to debug software and resolve issues in design automation tools
- Python and TCL knowledge
