Job Summary

Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) supports physicians and nursing staff in delivering high-quality, efficient patient care within a fast-paced emergency department. Responsibilities include ensuring stock items and equipment are available, maintaining patient rooms and supplies, reporting equipment malfunctions, documenting care in medical records, monitoring patients requiring one-to-one observation, transporting patients as needed, and participating in quality improvement processes. The role requires effective communication with nursing staff, strong teamwork, attention to detail, organizational abilities, a compassionate patient-centered approach, and the ability to perform tasks in high-pressure environments. Must meet education requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work in an in-person, hospital setting, with weekend availability preferred.
