Job Summary
Conduct staff development and educational sessions for nursing teams using simulation-based training methods and instructional design. Deliver coaching and mentorship to enhance clinical skills while maintaining clear communication in high-stress environments. Maintain current RN licensure in South Carolina and hold required advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Prioritize a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with three to five years of clinical experience, with a Master's degree preferred. This role supports continuous learning initiatives within the ED staff development team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
- Advanced certification such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or healthcare education
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing or staff development
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development (CNPD) or other relevant certifications
- Exceptional teaching, coaching, and communication skills
- Proficient in instructional design and the use of simulation-based training methods
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment while maintaining calm and clear communication
