ED RN Supervisor

Oversee hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and optimal bed utilization by monitoring census and coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers. Act as the administrative point of contact for staff, patients, and families during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and responding to emergencies or serving as the incident commander in disaster situations. Supervise nursing staff, provide clinical guidance, complete and validate the midnight census, and conduct hospital rounds to assess needs and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards. Facilitate communication between staff, physicians, and administration to resolve issues, identify performance improvement opportunities, and assist in managing departmental budgets while maintaining compliance with all policies.
