Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) role at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley in Pleasanton, CA for Evening shift (11:00 PM–11:30 PM) overseeing direct patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating care with other providers, and teaching patients and families to manage care and prevent complications. Maintains C-I-CARE standards, documents care, and contributes to a healing environment. Requires CA RN licensure, BLS, 1–2 years of acute care experience; strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and ability to work autonomously. Knowledge of nursing process, hospital policies, and current healthcare trends is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- RN license - California State Licensure
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
- 1-2 years prior acute care RN experience
