Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under licensed nurse supervision, including feeding, positioning, hygiene, and oral care. Alert medical staff to patient condition changes and obtain EKG readings while communicating with providers. Operate medical equipment safely, collect and transport specimens, and offer one-on-one safety monitoring for behavioral health patients. Maintain infection control standards, participate in performance improvement studies, and attend required training. Requires a high school diploma, current BLS certification, and preferred venipuncture experience. Full-time or PRN availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma in General Studies or a GED state certification
- Certification in Basic Life Saving (BLS)
- Positive interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with venipuncture
- Experience with obtaining EKGs
