Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of early childhood education centers, including facilities management, staffing management, program administration, and parental communication. Supervise office managers, teachers, teaching assistants, family workers, janitors, and cooks while ensuring compliance with state and local licensing regulations. Create a developmentally appropriate environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand, leveraging business and marketing savvy to grow the program and hire educators. Partner with parents to provide orientation, coordinate services for children with disabilities, and facilitate services for behavioral needs. Maintain NYS Certification for Early Childhood Education Birth to Grade 2 and hold F07 and S95 certifications.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Certification for Early Childhood Education Birth to Grade 2
- F07 and S95
- Two years or more of teaching and supervising experience in a similar position
- Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
- Familiarity with the Creative Curriculum, ECERS, and Teaching Strategies Gold
