Job Summary
ED CNA-F provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, supporting patient comfort and safety in a family-centered care environment. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe, quiet environment; assisting with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient care under supervision; participating in performance improvement activities; and collaborating with medical staff and other hospital personnel. Requires high school diploma or GED; CNA certification and BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification; preferred one year of experience. Schedule includes Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 11a-11p for full-time employment. Starting pay range reflects hourly CNA wages for ED care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required
- Completed course of instruction from acceptable training school or equivalent training which prepares the employee to meet the designated requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of applicable state
- BCLS certification
