Job Summary
ED Tech, ED Clinical Support Specialist delivers hands-on emergency department support under RN supervision. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, 12-lead EKGs, point-of-care testing (accuchecks, urine, stool or sputum), routine vital signs monitoring (BP, pulse, respirations, temperature, pulse oximetry), and assisting in delivering technical care to emergency patients as directed by an RN. Requires EMT/Paramedic or healthcare-focused education with HS diploma or equivalent; full-time, evening/night shift with weekend/holiday scheduling per union contract. Based in Michigan (Muskegon or Livonia) with in-person duties.
Required Qualifications
- EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)
- Paramedic or healthcare career-focus education (i.e. Nursing school or Medical school)
- High School graduate or equivalent
