Job Summary
Coordinates patient care, personnel management, maintenance of equipment, and staffing for the Emergency Department. Manages hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development. Participates in staffing, budgeting, and payroll processes; ensures accurate timekeeping, overtime decisions, and staff communications. Delivers patient care per planned interventions across age groups to achieve optimal wellness and collaborates on care plans based on assessment, diagnosis, and medical treatment. This role operates in a Magnet-certified Level I Trauma ED at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, with 4x10 shifts (4p-2a or 8p-6a) and a BSN requirement, located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- BSN required
- 2+yrs RN experience
- ED experience preferred
- leadership experience preferred
- 4x10's
