Job Summary
ECVC & IP Event Coordinator role supports planning and execution of client events and business development initiatives for Lowenstein Sandler’s West Coast offices. Based in San Francisco with hybrid travel to Palo Alto, the position combines hands-on event coordination with strategic BD support to enhance client engagement and market presence. Responsibilities include coordinating client programs, panels, networking receptions, and dinners; handling venue sourcing, vendor coordination, run-of-show development, timelines, budgets, and on-site execution; managing invites and CRM data; supporting marketing materials and post-event follow-up; collaborating with internal teams; and maintaining on-site presence across the Bay Area with local travel. Requires minimum 2 years’ experience in event planning/marketing/BD, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work with attorneys and clients, and comfort with CRM/event-management tools. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Office location is San Francisco, CA (Hybrid), with frequent local travel to Palo Alto for events, and occasional evenings. Salary range stated: $75,000–$85,000/year.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in event planning, marketing, or business development (professional services or law firm experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work confidently and professionally with attorneys, clients, executives, and external partners
- Experience with CRM systems and event management platforms is a plus
