Job Summary
Paraprofessional in Early Childhood Special Education assisting licensed staff with instruction of students with disabilities in a Kansas elementary setting. Responsibilities include supporting developmentally appropriate instructional objectives under licensed staff guidance, implementing strategies to promote inclusion and independence, maintaining confidentiality of educational/medical records, assisting with documentation and data collection, attending inservices and IEP meetings as requested, supervising students, and potentially transporting students if required by the district. May require driving and physical assistance as part of duties, with adherence to district health and safety policies and collaboration with teachers, therapists, and administrators to support student progress.
