Job Summary

Develop and review curriculum for all ECSE classrooms, ensuring alignment with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards, IEP goals, and evidence-based instructional practices. Conduct weekly lesson plan reviews and submit monthly curriculum recommendations alongside updated instructional resources. Provide instructional coaching to teachers, including a minimum of two sessions per month, to support differentiated instruction and behavioral supports. Perform at least one in-person classroom observation weekly to evaluate instructional quality and provide written summaries with recommendations. Collaborate with teachers, LBSs, and therapists in interdisciplinary meetings to integrate ABA principles and review behavior support strategies. Submit quarterly educational outcomes reviews and program improvement recommendations to leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Education, or a closely related field
  • Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Active Pennsylvania Instructional Teaching Certification
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Pennsylvania Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) credential, or eligibility to obtain the credential if required by Pennsylvania regulations
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in special education
  • Experience teaching preschool-aged children with disabilities
  • Experience developing curriculum and instructional materials
  • Experience coaching teachers and educational staff
  • Experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
  • Demonstrated experience integrating Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles into educational programming
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary educational and clinical teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
  • Experience providing clinical consultation to multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience developing curriculum across multiple preschool classrooms
  • Experience training and mentoring educators and related service providers
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania preschool special education regulations and educational best practices
