Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. Manage instructional time, student behavior, and presentation of lessons; monitor student performance; provide feedback; facilitate instruction; interact with students, co-workers, parents, and the community; perform non-instructional duties as assigned; and ensure compliance with licensure requirements for teachers in North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
