Job Summary

Conduct stakeholder mapping for Chinese government counterparts and deliver bilingual document translation services (English ↔ Chinese). Manage end-to-end logistics coordination for high-level official visits, including badge preparation, hotel accommodation, and ground transportation. Provide administrative support for internal and external meetings, compile background briefing materials, and draft formal correspondence to relevant authorities. Execute targeted desk research to identify agenda sessions aligned with core policy priorities and undertake policy research covering central and local government frameworks. Coordinate liaison with external stakeholders and ensure punctual submission of critical information. This six-month full-time role at the World Economic Forum Beijing Representative Office begins between September and October 2026.

Required Qualifications

  • Competence to give and receive constructive direct feedback
  • Mandatory foundational knowledge of the operational mechanisms of China's government systems
  • Fluent verbal and written proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Verifiable relevant track records in English and Chinese proficiency
  • Quick learner capable of multi-tasking
  • Strong resilience to thrive under tight deadlines and work pressure
  • Full time graduate student or up to three years working experience in public policy, international relations, language or other relevant discipline
