Job Summary

Support the growth and implementation of the SmartStart USA pilot by engaging schools, workforce organizations, state agencies, employers, and industry partners while coordinating stakeholder consultations and tracking activities. Contribute to resource mobilization by researching philanthropic and public-sector funding opportunities, preparing partnership materials, and tracking engagement with prospective funders. Assist in developing the SmartStart Student & Teacher Portal through workforce trend research, skills demand mapping, and coordinating stakeholder feedback. Plan and deliver virtual and in-person events, including the 2027 Annual Partner Convening in North America, and execute regional partnership activities such as Global Lighthouse Network roundtables. Develop briefing materials, event content, and impact reporting to demonstrate programme outcomes. This six-month full-time role begins September or October 2026 with a monthly gross compensation of USD $4,550, offering early career graduates a chance to influence systems-level change within the World Economic Forum's Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • Interest in advanced manufacturing, supply chains, workforce development, education, or ecosystem-building
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to contribute effectively within an international team environment
  • Maximum of 3 years cumulated work experience (inclusive of internships)

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's preferred in business, policy, technology, manufacturing, engineering, or a relevant field
