Job Summary
Produce forecasts and scenario analysis for key macro-economic and financial variables, writing short notes and in-depth reports on these topics. Communicate key views and forecasts to colleagues and clients through presentations and press interviews. Collaborate with a team of two Milan-based economists and the Global Research team to define global economic visions and support the bank and its clients in Italy. Deliver results within tight deadlines while applying a proactive approach to problem-solving in a complex environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of at least 2 years of experience in economic research
- University degree in (advanced) economics (Laurea Magistrale, Master, PhD)
- Perfect Italian speaker and writer, with excellent oral/written skills in English
- Computer skills, with a good knowledge of MS Office, AI, data analysis, working with charts and PowerPoint presentations
- Strong analytical skills
- Team player, but able to work autonomously
- Dynamic, with a sense of initiative
- Permanent employment contract
- Full time (37 hours per week)
- National Collective Labour Agreement for employees in the credit sector (NCLA)
- Location: Milan (hybrid)
