Job Summary
Lead and deliver economic advisory engagements end-to-end for corporates, regulators, and government bodies while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Drive business development to grow a strong client portfolio and provide technical leadership across competition, regulatory, and applied economics. Mentor and develop a high-performing team while contributing to the strategy and culture of this new consulting practice. This Director role suits those who enjoy varied projects and the collaborative nature of working within a growing team. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in economic advisory, competition economics, regulatory economics, public policy economics or applied microeconomics
- Experience gained within a leading professional services firm, specialist economics consultancy, regulator, government body, or regulated industry
- Strong track record delivering advice on complex, high-stakes issues
- Deep technical expertise in one or more core economic consulting disciplines
- Established client relationships and business development capability
- Strong experience advising clients within one or more relevant sectors, such as Financial Services, Infrastructure, Power & Utilities, Transport, Digital or Technology, or other regulated or network industries
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience leading teams and managing large, multi-stream projects
