Job Summary
CRM, Email & WhatsApp Automation Manager responsible for owning the lifecycle automation across Klaviyo, WhatsApp Business API, and Shopify Flow for two brands across UK, EU, US, and GCC markets. Duties include designing and optimising automated email journeys (welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, browse and cart abandonment, subscription renewal), managing audience segmentation by market and behavior, running structured A/B tests, maintaining list health and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, regional regs), owning WhatsApp broadcasts and automation, building Shopify Flow automations, and driving retention and subscription performance. Collaboration with Creative Content Producer, legal/compliance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders; regular reporting on performance metrics (revenue attribution, open/click rates, unsubscribe rates, LTV trends) and developing data-driven actions. Health/pharma-regulated context with exposure to four markets (UK, EU, US, GCC) and a London-based on-site role. Practical ownership of retention strategies, subscription lifecycle communications, and the overall CRM infrastructure to maximize customer lifetime value.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on CRM and email marketing experience, with Shopify Plus as a core platform
- Experience building and managing automated email flows from scratch
- Experience with WhatsApp Business API or equivalent messaging automation platforms
- Strong understanding of ecommerce customer lifecycle (acquisition to retention and subscription management)
- Shopify experience with Flow or equivalent automation tools
- Data-driven mindset and ability to work with Klaviyo analytics
- Solid understanding of GDPR and email/messaging compliance obligations
- Meticulous attention to detail and impact of automated flows on revenue
