Ecommerce Merchandising Operations

Job Summary
Support expansion of the e-commerce assortment by creating products at submission, gathering items from local stores and writing comprehensive, detailed descriptions (including features and benefits) based on submissions from buying offices; make items live for store fulfillment and drop ship; QA product titles, descriptions, and imagery; assist marketing efforts and promotions to ensure online departments are well populated; pull samples for photo shoots and provide instructions for photography; obtain images from manufacturers/vendors; travel to surrounding stores for samples as needed; contribute to category banners and ongoing website maintenance across assigned categories; collaborate with coordinator, SDF, and promotions teams to expedite items featured in tabs or mailers; maintain up-to-date product attributes and ensure accurate online presentation for optimal customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in an online/retail environment
- Proficient writing skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
