Ecommerce Merchandising Operations

Job Summary
Create product descriptions and images for e-commerce listings by pulling samples from local stores and gathering vendor-provided photography. Make store and drop ship items live daily while ensuring product titles, descriptions, and imagery meet quality standards. QA cross-promotes and assist the team in expediting product launches to support marketing efforts and promotional schedules. Research new product attributes and create category banners for assigned areas. Contact buying offices and coordinate with SDF and promotions teams to resolve issues and rush featured items. Travel to surrounding stores as needed to obtain merchandise samples.

- Strong knowledge of the e-commerce platform

- Written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects in order to meet deadlines

- Ability to work as a team
- Prior experience in an online/retail environment
- Ability to travel to surrounding stores (North, Coventry, Berkshire) as needed
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs for merchandise transportation
- Sit, stand, and walk for required periods of time
- Ability to reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers to handle objects and operate tools, computers, and/or controls
