Job Summary
Ecommerce Data Analyst (A2) within the Partner Success Analytics team at Ocado Group, Hybrid working in Hatfield. You will generate insights across the full customer journey, spanning discovery, browsing, purchase, retention, and engagement for a global set of retail partners. Collaborate with product, commercial, and data engineering to translate deep analytics into clear, actionable narratives, influence commercial decision-making, and support data-driven improvements across digital storefronts, fulfilment, and last-mile delivery. Responsibilities include cohort analysis, customer segmentation, lifetime value modelling, funnel analysis, tracking core ecommerce metrics (Conversion Rate, Average Order Value, Frequency, Churn), evaluating feature uptake and pricing, A/B testing, building Looker dashboards, surfacing data gaps with engineers, and communicating findings to diverse stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar data-focused role
- Strong SQL proficiency
- Python proficiency for data analysis, transformation, and automation
- Solid understanding of statistics and hypothesis testing
- Experience building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or Data Studio
- Familiarity with core ecommerce metrics and their business impact
- Ability to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences
