Job Summary
Gather and construct time-series data on economic, environmental, and social metrics from 1990-2020 for selected countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Your research covers GDP, consumption, labor force participation, mortality from contamination, CO2 emissions, endangered species, literacy, wages, and healthcare costs. Choose one or more countries based on your economic expertise and connection to that region. This brief temporary engagement (1-2 weeks) offers light research opportunities with potential for subsequent paid job and project opportunities within the BSI family. Introduction to ecological economics is provided, and work experience at a brand-name international consulting firm is preferred.
