Job Summary
Lead and supervise manufacturing team members on the shop floor: guide and communicate assigned work, monitor group quality and performance, assist the Operations Leader in planning personnel utilization, maintain workflow to schedules, ensure equipment is functional, administer product quality and safety programs, maintain department paperwork, provide training and input on quality, safety, performance appraisals, productivity, and rewards. Demonstrate leadership, communicate effectively, and perform related group-leader duties. Requires 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm), ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with PPE. Also includes exposure to export-controlled information and US-Persons eligibility. Relocation assistance not provided. Wage: base hourly pay, with 10% shift differential; benefits and company mission described in posting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 5 years Metem experience and/or 3 years in Quality in a manufacturing setting
- Basic computer skills (email)
- Ability to work 2nd Shift (2:30pm-10:30pm)
- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Good communication skills, ability to follow written instructions and take and provide verbal instructions for multiple tasks in a manufacturing shop environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Quality, Safety, Shop computer systems and Shop Support
- Demonstrated Organizational and Leadership Skills
- Ability to work overtime as required including occasional weekend shift
- Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes)
