Job Summary
Lead and coordinate a manufacturing group on 2nd shift, ensuring adherence to work instructions and data card requirements while monitoring quality and performance. Assist Ops Leader with planning staffing for efficient production, maintaining workflow, ensuring equipment readiness, and administering product quality and safety programs. Provide training, identify and communicate training needs, and contribute to performance appraisals, discipline, and recognition. Perform other group-leader duties as assigned; demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to lift 50 pounds and work overtime; operate with knowledge of quality and safety policies and shop computer systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years Metem experience and/or 3 years in Quality in a manufacturing setting
- Basic computer skills (email)
- Ability to work 2nd Shift (2:30pm-10:30pm)
- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Good communication skills, ability to follow written instructions and take and provide verbal instructions for multiple tasks in a manufacturing shop environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Quality, Safety, Shop computer systems and Shop Support
- Demonstrated Organizational and Leadership Skills
- Ability to work overtime as required including occasional weekend shift
- Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment
