Job Summary
Performs diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics (adult or pediatric) in accordance with accepted protocols; records test results, ensures high-quality images and timely submission to PACS, and reports findings. Maintains patient safety and comfort during tests, positions patients, and verifies equipment functionality. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and department cleanliness. Requires completion of an echosonography program and ARDMS/CCI (or RDCS with AE/PE) certification. Day shift, full-time position with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and relocation assistance for qualified external candidates. Responsibilities also include equipment maintenance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Cardiac Sonography program
- ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac Sonography
- State licensure requirements as applicable (IL, MO, OK, WI)
- BLS HCP - American Heart Association
- Experience: No experience required
