Job Summary
Diagnostic Imaging Operations: Set up and adjust imaging equipment and transducers to perform routine and complex studies, accurately positioning patients and selecting technical parameters. Clinical Analysis & Quality: Recognize significant anatomical structures, pathology, and artifacts while ensuring high-quality image and document submission to PACS. Safety & Compliance: Implement safety standards and quality control procedures to ensure all activities strictly comply with regulatory agency requirements. Environment & Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) obtained within 30 days of hire
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or
- Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from ARDMS or
- Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from ARDMS and CCI within 180 days
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from ARRT within 180 days; General Radiography required in addition to any specialty; State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board within 180 days
- High School diploma with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
