Review Echocardiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging. Acquire echocardiographic data using transthoracic transducer acquisition for patients at rest, including morphologic imaging, myocardial function assessment, hemodynamic parameter recording, and blood flow visualization. Independently perform stress echocardiographic testing and administer contrast imaging under cardiologist direction. Demonstrate skill in acquiring clear images for patients with congenital heart problems and clinically complex cases. Engage in teaching echocardiographic skills, assist in orientation and training of new staff, and may serve as an interim shift lead. Review exam requests and ensure timely completion while meeting quality and compliance standards.
