Job Summary
Set up ultrasound equipment, attach electrodes to patients, and document cardiac data while performing echocardiography to assess heart functions and diagnose conditions. Prepare patients by positioning them, applying gel, and reviewing medical records to adapt sonographic techniques. Collaborate with cardiologists by evaluating findings and reporting results, while maintaining equipment, restocking supplies, and entering patient information into systems. Maintain job knowledge through professional development and uphold patient confidentiality. Requires RDCS or CCI-RCS certification, BLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Located in Kailua, O'ahu.
Required Qualifications
- Currently certified, or eligible to be certified, with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
