Echocardiographic Technician (Outpatient), Part-time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Perform echocardiographic imaging in an outpatient setting by creating images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels to assess functions and aid diagnoses. Set up ultrasound equipment, attach electrodes, position patients, apply gel, and verify wave signals while documenting measurements and entering data into systems. Interview patients, review medical records, and adapt sonographic techniques to ensure accurate assessments. Maintain equipment, inventory supplies, and review patient schedules while keeping patient information confidential. Requires RDCS or CCI-RCS certification, BLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Currently certified, or eligible to be certified, with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledged access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
