Echocardiographic Technician (Outpatient), Part-time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Set up ultrasound equipment, attach electrodes to patients, and perform echocardiography to assess heart functions and diagnose cardiac issues. Interview patients, review medical records, and adapt sonographic techniques while providing patient care and instructions. Maintain equipment, inventory supplies, restock materials, and enter patient information into appropriate systems. Collaborate with cardiologists by evaluating findings and reporting results. Maintain job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional publications. Requires RDCS or CCI-RCS certification, BLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Full-time or part-time day shift available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently certified, or eligible to be certified, with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
