Job Summary
Set up ultrasound equipment, attach electrodes to patients, and prepare individuals for cardiac imaging by positioning them and applying gel. Perform echocardiography on treadmill patients to assess heart functions while interviewing patients and reviewing medical records to adapt sonographic techniques. Collaborate with cardiologists by evaluating findings and reporting results, then maintain equipment, inventory supplies, and enter patient data into systems. This part-time, day shift role requires RDCS or CCI-RCS certification and BLS certification. Located in Kailua, Adventist Health Castle.
Required Qualifications
- Currently certified, or eligible to be certified, with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
