Echocardiographic Technician (Outpatient), Part-time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Set up ultrasound equipment, attach electrodes to patients, and document cardiac data and measurements. Prepare patients by positioning them, applying gel, and verifying wave signals while recording images. Interview patients, review medical records to adapt sonographic techniques, and provide care instructions. Perform echocardiography on treadmill patients to assess heart functions. Maintain equipment, restock supplies, review schedules, and enter patient information into appropriate systems. Collaborate with cardiologists to evaluate findings and report results. Requires RDCS or CCI-RCS certification, BLS/CPR certification, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Full-time day shift in Kailua.
Required Qualifications
- Currently certified, or eligible to be certified, with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
- Echocardiography (ECG) certification
