Echocardiographic Technician, Full Time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Set up ultrasound equipment, attach electrodes to patients, and document cardiac data while preparing individuals for sonographic imaging. Perform echocardiography to create images of heart muscle, chambers, valves, and vessels for assessing heart functions and diagnosing conditions. Collaborate with cardiologists by evaluating findings and reporting results, while interviewing patients and reviewing medical records to adapt sonographic techniques. Maintain equipment, inventory supplies, restock materials, and enter patient information into appropriate systems. Complete daily duties including treadmill echocardiography, ensuring patient care and confidentiality throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Currently certified, or eligible to be certified, with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred
- Echocardiography (ECG) certification
