Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS assists with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision, serving as a monitor tech interpreting dysrhythmia and EKGs, operating physiologic recorders and imaging equipment, and assisting as a scrub tech and circulator during cath lab procedures. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, managing imaging equipment, monitoring patient status, stocking and stocking cath lab supplies, and troubleshooting equipment. The role supports the cath lab operations at Methodist Richardson Medical Center, a 443-bed acute care hospital serving Richardson and surrounding areas, and is part of a Magnet-designated facility with multiple specialized services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
